Ricky Dunn

Bar Manager / Beverage Director

With more than 15 years of experience, Ricky Dunn brings comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry to his position as bar manager/beverage director at The Macintosh. Dunn has worked at the award winning Charleston restaurant for five years, gaining experience under wine director Vonda Freeman and James Beard Foundation semifinalist chef Jeremiah Bacon. Dunn worked as a server and as a shift leader before becoming bar manager/beverage director where he now direct’s the elevated cocktail program.

Prior to joining The Macintosh team, Dunn held several F&B positions at Charleston establishments including Muse, Burns Alley and Virginia’s on King, in addition to working with several catering companies. While serving at Virginia’s on King, he became the daytime manager after working there for two years. A Summerville native, Dunn graduated from The College of Charleston in 2006 with a degree in theatre performance.

Dunn’s passion, enthusiasm and expertise in hospitality allows him to excel in his new position as bar manager/beverage director.
